Import permits

Gene Movers take the time and stress out of import procedures by making application on behalf of clients for permit to import quarantine material into Australia.

Import clearance

Once application has been made Gene Movers will monitor the progress of the transaction by liaising with importers and exporters, arranging import clearance through Customs and Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and providing personal attendance at the airport.

Personal attendance

Even for clients who have made their own arrangements for Customs clearance, Gene Movers offers the service of personal attendance at the airport to ensure smooth handling of materials into the country.

Consolidated shipment

Whenever possible we will consolidate shipments to reduce the overall cost to our clients. This is achieved by combining shipments from the one client or from multiple clients.

Insurance

At clients’ discretion, airport to airport cargo insurance is available on request. Cargo insurance generally provides for loss of, or visible damage to, shipments and provides protection for your property while it is in the air.
